1. Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS)

The Paine College Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) provides quality educational opportunities to the Greater Augusta Community, country, and the world.

Purpose

The central purpose of the Center for Advanced Professional Studies at Paine College is to extend the College's learning community beyond the core partnership of faculty and traditional degree students, furthering the educational mission of Paine College in a welcoming and non-competitive setting for adult learners. Establishment of CAPS is based on the premise that learning is a lifelong passion. This is especially true of the highly industrial and corporate Central Savannah River Area's residents and persons interested in pursuing educational opportunities through Paine College beyond the CSRA. To ensure achievement in learning, students will need to fulfill all requirements specified according to Paine College and in the syllabi of courses taken.

The Center for Advanced Professional Studies provides academic instruction to working adults, returning students, military service members and related personnel. Below are links to program offerings, policies, and information for military service members.
